It's kind of tough to do this, but it varies on what type of paint and when you wash it out. If it's acrylic or oil, chances are unless you wash it the minute it gets on it, it's gonna be there for a while..which sucks. It forms like a plastic-like coat and is basically like a decal on your shirt. Watercolor may be easier, make sure you put shout on it or oxyclean and it will probably come out. also kids paints that are washable with probably come out with shout too.

Try oxyclean its works amazing it gets awful stains out of my work clothes and I work electrical construction

Oil-based: turpentine or gasoline soak
water-based: oxyclean & tide in washer
