About three or four years ago, I purchased a Golden Showers climber. The first year it did indeed bloom a golden yellow color. Subsequent years have brought me very pale apricot blooms - no yellow to be found. The over-all shape of the plant, foliage, and growth habit have not changed at all, just the bloom color. Could this be the plant that Golden Showers was grafted onto?

These are all first year plants and are fruiting well, and I want to protect them so they will reproduce even better next year. Should I take them indoors or just leave them to weather outdoors. Can I put them under glass or clear plastic to protect them?

I just moved in to a new apartment, and it has ALOT of work that needs to be done;including ripping up carpets, tiled floors, and painting. I am trying to find the best way to rip them up(the press and stick tiles) because it seems to me that they have been down for a while and when I rip them up they are not coming up very easy. Is there some type of solution I can use to make them come up easier? Please help. I am in dying need of fixing this place it is practically a disaster! All different types of tiles in one room..from brown and blue to white and checkered yellow brown! It's a disaster area and I want to make it purty. Thanks!

The fans in both our bathrooms are extremely noisy so we almost never use them. While we were having some electrical work done I asked the electrician if it was possible to replace them. He said that we couldn't do it unless we replaced the existing attic vents with larger ones because all the new fans require wider vents. I was wondering if that's true. (I got the feeling he just didn't want to do it.)

I used a spray that is for killing bugs on roses and such. These little bugs crawl around in the dirt and fly around the plant. I think they are killing it. I have very little experience in taking care of houseplants. I think I may have also been overwatering it. The dirt looks like it might be moldy? Not sure how to describe. White to yellowish little balls on top.

We have the perfect branch in our yard for making a tire swing, but the branch is just too high to get a rope over. We've tried tying a rock to the end of the rope and throwing it over, but it kept getting caught in other small branches. Does anyone know another way to do it?

My upstairs neighbor's taste in music sucks. Besides shooting him, how can I reduce the amount of music which gets through the ceiling and to my ears? I'm in a studio apartment.

I have purchased two ceramic heaters and an oil filled heater for use this coming winter. We have a heat pump on our unit and it eats us up in the winter time with heating bills.
The heaters that I bought all have thermostats and can be set at 750 or 1500 watts. I did use the oil filled radiant heater some last year and it seemed to help with the bills but the back rooms were cool so I bought the ceramic heaters to use this coming year.
We have a small 2 bedroom, one bath house. Less than 900 sq feet.

I live in a house that has a house beside us and the person who lived here before me paved the entire area between the two houses, now 95% of the paved area is our land and is our driveway that we park in. My neighbor always has people coming over and parking in our driveway and she doesn't say anything about it. Today my husband is at work and she had some contractors show up and they parked in the driveway, she showed up to let them in and didn't tell them to move their car. Is there anything that I can do to stop this from happening? We constantly have to tell her but she doesn't seem to care. UGH!!!
