Well, the ideal conditions are a partially shaded area with well drained soil. Other than that, nothing special. The only thing you might want to remember is that Foxglove is a biennial and will only live for two seasons where as Monkshood is a perennial and will return yearly.

I have my monkshood planted under my pine tree it gets very little morning sun it gets around five feet tall, I do nothing to it but leave it grow.
