Riding Mower with B&S Engine 12 HP. The mower runs fine except when it is used for about two hours or more. When it gets hot it stalls under load. I have replaced the breather gasket which was no longer functional and it seemed to go for longer times without stalling. Have made adjustments per manual as far as tuning. The mower always starts when I attempt to restart though. I have cleaned the carburetor, replace the spark plug and air filter. Used clean new gas and changed the oil. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I am wondering if I could have a vapor lock problem. If this could be the problem how could I solve it? Incidentally the mower is 12 years old and has been a good one. Only other thing would be a compression problem????

The owner is picky is there something you can stick on that won't damage the walls? Or do you think I shouls just paint the walls a simple color and see what she says when it comes time to move out?

I want to create a nice 1.5-2ft. mount in the corner of my yard and I want to know if I can plant a small-medium sized king palm there. More specifically, it is a multi-trunk king palm in a 36" container box. I plan to dig a hole about half the depth of the container it's in now and then mound around the exposed half of the root ball to form a nice little "hill" in my lawn. This would be going in a 10' square section that has nothing but sod on it right now.

Can this be done? Will it harm the tree? Should I put the sod right up to the trunk or use some mulch around it?

Thanks!

You know.. the kind that dont have a motor or anything. Its got this round thing with baldes and you just push it and it spins and cuts the grass? Have you used one? Do they work well? I am looking to get one because I think it would be easier to cut the grass and still be able to see and hear my kids in the yard. Any input is appriciated. Thanks in advance!

Some of the metal post are broken at the ground and others bent real bad from the storms. It's the post used around Iowa for snow fencing.

My neighbor's cat has been eating my plants for 3 years! I tell him to keep his cat away and he won't....he is mean! Every year I buy new plants and the damn cat keeps chewing on them.

How can I keep the cat away? I am ready to shoot the damn thing with a BB Gun (it's legal in wisconsin).

Do you have any suggestions? I tried moth balls and this cat repelling product that I got on e-bay, and nothing works!

I just planted my spring vegetable garden (lettuces, herbs mainly). The garden area is about 14 feet away from my house, along the side of a paver patio, and slightly downhill from the house.

I just found out I may have termites (we found mud tracks in the basement and a few other hints of their being around). So I want to treat the house, but this means drilling holes to spray the soild around the foundation of the house, including around the area that is 14 feet away from my new garden.

So should I worry about growing veggies so close to the house that has just been treated?

thanks in advance

It was working before the washer was replaced, so basically just want to know if there is any possibility of it being fixed, or just replaced.

What causes it to happen by the way?

Are they very expensive?

Thanks

I am a clean freak. But for some reason I can not scrub hard enough or long enough to get the mold between the tiles. Should I recalk the shower? To me, that just seems like it covering the problem not fixing it. Any suggestions?

If you can find a good troubleshooting guide, that helps too. Thanks!

The previous owners of my house let this vine gorw completely out of hand. It has grown to a length of 10-15 feet and is climbing (and choking) a beautiful quince tree. I have tried cutting branches last year, but it grew back. Now I am trying to cut all the big stumps and the long roots & branches I can find, but the root system is huge and I cannot seem to be able to dig it out.

Is there anything I can spray on it that wouldn't hurt the tree? Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance
