I have a room where the walls are pock-marked because of wallpaper removal. I want to texturize the walls, but not a heavy texture. I thought about paint with sand, but I've heard it's tricky to use. Has anyone used it before?

I am trying to install/wire CAT6 cable from basement to my dining room.(do not ask me why dining room...) I already fished cable to dining room. Next step is to connect/wire the cable to CAT6 jack and mount it to wall plate.

My question is:
Because I have wood panel installed tor my dining room, I can mount wall plate to wood panel without mounting bracket installed to wall inside. Do I need to have mounting bracket/electrical box, like Carlon product for any other reason? Can I mount wall plate to wood panel directly ?

Two rooms in my house keeps getting stains that look like they might be caused by the insulation in the attic above. It looks like a blackish shadow and it only appears in the spaces between the beams. It is difficult to cover with a fresh coat of paint, it eventually shows through. I don't know what causes this to try to prevent it from happening.

Problem: Gas Mileage

The problem I have is that when I take the mower to the gas station and ride back I can only mow for a few mintes because I only have enough gas to ride back to the station for more gas. I called John Deere and they don't sell a larger tank, I make sure the tires are filled up and the oil is changed to get the best mileage. I thought about putting in my truck but it's too big...it's 25 HP! Sometimes when I've over mowed I only make part way to the station before it runs out...so I have it down that I can mow for 7 minutes before I have to get more gas...it takes numerous trip just to cut my grass.

any suggestions

My bathroom is in the center of our 20's-built railroad-style flat so it is very dark and small. I really want to try to add lightness & calm to this bathroom. Also, we RENT so we can't do anything too crazy. Probably just some paint & accessories. Thoughts and Ideas very welcome!

Someone gave me a full tray of ajuga reptans because they ran out of room in their garden. I would like to use it as groundcover to almost completely cover the area where my lawn is, but I don't know much about it. I live a PA which is zone 5.

1:Is it a perennial or evergreen? Some internet sources list it as both. I don't want to plant something that will go back into the ground in the winter.

2: What kind of egding would you use to contain it? I plan to plant Juniper on another part of the yard and I don't want it crowded out.
