Congratulations! Ours is going in this weekend, our usual last frost date in NE Ohio is May 15th. We are looking at having our septic tank removed this summer and we don't know which way the new sewers will go, so our garden is going to be in containers this summer so we can move them as necessary.

Good Luck and Happy Gardening!

In New England, were I live NO NO NO!
Never plant anything except cold crop like peas, and cabbage before Memorial day or you risk a freeze or even a late snow storm! In the late seventy's on today's date Connecticut got a two foot snow storm, and I remember in the spring of 77 an ice storm in May that took out so many trees because the leaves were out in full and the ice weighed them down to the breaking point!
It is not summer in New England Yet!

Plant your backyard after the final frost. If uncertain, shop the flowers close to a window the place they'll get oblique gentle and supply them lots of water. Squash improve only as quickly from seed, as nicely as cucumbers. only shop on with the instructions on the equipment.

I planted the swiss chard but can't plant the rest for another couple of weeks. Nights are still pretty cool.

Did'nt plant one for me, but I did for a 4year old friend of mine, 'maters, peppers, squash, strawberries, cantalope & watermelon. It all looks good, if the critters will leave them alone, East Texas is real dry in the summer, maybe peas after this.
