I would like to transplant some wild pine trees into my yard (roughly 10' high, 4" diameter at base). Are these too mature to move without damaging roots beyond repair? If not what are some tips to help the trees take.

seeings 2x4 are smaller that they say should i use a smaller 2 x 6 where it says to use a 2 x 4 now this would make sence to me

We have low water flow, pressure is fine. When using 1 source, it is fine, but when using 2 or more sources at the same time, flow drops tremendously. Had a plumber inspect the lines, all looked OK in the house, I suspect and issue on the main coming in, water company is ignoring me.

why dont they call them 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 thats the size they are. 2x6 are the same way how can i build something that says use a 2 x 4 when they are all a way smaller

I'm painting our new home today and have to buy the paint. I'm not sure what a reasonable cost for a high quality paint is per gallon. We're on a budget but want good coverage so we only have to do one coat. What is the best brand and best store to buy from without spending a lot of money?

in the master bath. It has horrible faux black marble peel and stick that is terribly done. I want to lay ceramic over it. I have peeled up tiles before, and it is a J-O-B! Can I lay plywood or backerboard over these tiles and go about my business? Or is there really no shortcuts? Any advice would be helpful!

i purchases this MTD yard machine last year from home depot, i only used it once or twice this season. but i notice when its started there was a little white smoke that blew out, but it ran fine. well yesterday we added oil, and was running it, then noticed a big cloud of white smoke and we hurried and shut it off. I was planning to get it the servicing this week, but wanted to hurry and cut before the rain, i have concerned about starting it up right now. i am taking it today to get the oil change, spark plug changed and lube, but very curious on the white smoke
