They won't get clean, I've tried different detergents, any Martha-style tips out there?

Add jet dry once a month, it wouks for me!

I won't debase myself to call my tip Martha-style. She's too snooty. BUT - put a splash of white vinegar in the bottom of your dishwasher before running the cycle. This will help.

Start using Jet Dry in your dishwasher. Once this has happened to your glasses i think it is near impossible to get rid of.

It ids called etching and it happens to glass ware alot. To prevent it in the future NEVER WASH OR RINSE GLASS WARE IN ANYTHING BUT COLD WATER IN A DISHWASHER. You can if you wash and rinse by hand though, but you will have to dry them right away otherwise they will spot up really bad. This will happen everytime if you use hot water.

Chances are, you are using a powdered detergent and the water temp is not high enough to totally dissolve it. This amounts to sandblasting your glasses. Use a liquid detergent.

Try using jet dry. It keeps the spots off of my glasses, it may keep the milky film off of yours.

Jet dry, or just hand wash w/ bleach & vinegar in the water.

The only thing you can do is wash them buy hand...I know it sucks, but it works.
