okay i've never used a fan assisted oven before always had a gas one, but i've moved into this house and theres a built in cooker and a fan assisted oven, which i have no instructions for!
i can turn it one and the red led light comes on saying that its on, then sometimes even after i turn the dial knob back to "off" the fan stays on and the led light goes off, is this normal??? is it just heating up or is it broke?

Hello. I'm thinking of having a basic shower installed and don't want to be ripped off by unscrupulous tradesmen. Do you have any idea of the basic cost?

Hi, I moved into my flat about three years ago and have never bothered with the alarm and it;s never given me any bother. This morning though the outside part of the alarm was sort of going off. Well it didn't sound well anyway. It was kind of crackling with a very faint alarm sound. It sounded like a wet battery in there or something. I reset my alarm and it stopped for a bit, then started, then finally seems to have stopped. However, I'm scared of it starting again. Also, now whenever I go into the loo I set the alarm off inside! I just want to get rid of the bloody thing. Is there any way I can completely disable it easily myself without having to pay someone? Can't I just open up the panel and disconnect from the mains somehow? HELP!! My neighbours will hate me!

I need some advice on mousetraps. I want one that doesn't hurt or kill the mouse, but traps it until I'm able to set the mouse loose in the bush (away from houses); also, I don't want to have to touch the mouse at all, so no traps that involve that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
