They break the sprinkler heads off on our rental property and dont fix them or let us know so they can be repaired and the grass dies. Also, they dont speak English so we cant communicate effectively with them.

applicators who are careless with drift and damage other plants
applicators who are careless with chemical mixing
applicators lacking ppe
spraying the entire lawn when there's only 2 weeds in it
here's a huge pet peeve: applicators that don't detect problems when they first show signs (chinch, fungal, etc.).. they're more worried how many accounts they're gonna get done today then about the quality on each property
applicators who try to up sell chemical apps that are not needed... what a waste of chemicals and harmful to the environment
applicators whom are not really knowledgeable about insect/disease but try to bs the customer
and apply the wrong chemicals or don't teach the customer cultural control methods rather than 'up-selling' more chemical apps
applications done right before it rains.... it takes longer than 1 hour for the chemical to stick... especially during humid weather... no matter how much sticker is added to the product
how about applicators who say "stay off for 12 hours"... no, you need at least 24 hours
how about.. applicators who say the chemicals are safe for kids and pets.... what a bunch of BS... do the research and see just how harmful the chemicals are to not only people but also our pets, our water supply, and our environment
also, we like to blame agriculture for our chemical poisoning to our environment... lawn companies apply far more chemicals than agriculture... again, do the research
farmers don't waste chemical.. they can't afford it... lawn applicators don't care.. it's not their money (in chemicals) they are waisting, it's the companies owners money

Companies who claim they know, for sure, how to care for your yard, then mow too low, use the weedeater to cut the grass around the sprinkler heads, creating huge "bowls" around them, climb the trees with spikes on their boots (which kills the part of the tree with the holes, and provides spots for bugs and fungus to enter and finish- off the tree.)
People who use gas or kerosene to kill weeds. It poisons the ground water, and is much more dangerous than Round-Up.
Irresponsible gardeners who can't get to my house on the assigned day, then don't call to explain why.
