got a dewalt 1251 rotory saw but didnt have a switch on it when i got it.i brought a switch but dont know where the wires go.

Got a 1251 dewalt rotory saw with a swinging arm.it didnt have a switch on it,brought a switch but dont know where the wires go.theres 2 black wires with a spade ,2 green wires with a spade ,1 green and 1 grey seperated,on the switch there is 3 spade connections.so where do they go,the mains lead has got only 3 wires going into the mains plug.

There is not enough information in your question. What kind of "rotary" saw? Table? Radial arm? 7-1/4" circular saw? Does the switch have wires or terminals? How many wires or terminals, and what color?

Aren't there letters on the switch? It is a code that all electrical terminals be labeled. Without them you are pretty much outta luck. I can tell you that on an electric saw 2 wires come in to the switch from the wall and 2 wires go to the motor. 1 wire to each of the brushes.
