Anyone having a problem with an 8.5hp craftsman snow thrower not staying running when temps are 0F or below.Mine runs for about 3mins then dies. Then wont start for 15 mins. It does it at full run or half choke. Sears doesn't think there is a problem since it never does it in the warm shop they work in. seems like its flooding out.

The cabinets have no shine or gloss to them. My thought would be to give them a light sanding, prime them with kiltz primer, and paint them a hi gloss or semi gloss white, and spraypaint old hardware nickel colored to save money. let me in on tip thanks

I was cutting out a square from a meshed net
After cutting it, I realized that there are pointy jagged metal pieces sticking out now.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what to cover the pointy jagged pieces with?
I tried to put fire on it hoping it would melt, but that wasnt that successful.
I also tried cutting off the pointy parts but that doesn't work as well.

Any suggestions is very much appreciated!

Thx 8)

You know the ones I'm talking about which advertise in the sunday paper. The TREE TOMATO or "produces bushels of tomatos". I always want to get them but I don't want to be ripped off.

I have a flourescsent light fixture in the kitchen which I do not like. The fixture uses two U-shaped flourescent tubes and is a pain in the neck (literally) to change the tubes. I'm thinking of changing the fixture into a ceiling light that uses compact flourescent bulbs instead. Because the fixture uses the U-shaped tubes, would replacing the fixture be any more difficult than if I was to replace a light fixture that didn't use a fluorescent light fixture? Is there anything special I'd have to do? thx

My husband and I are in the process of purchasing new living room furniture. He is currently deployed and I'd love for him to come back to an amazing new design in the room we use most. I'm currently working on all the designs [dining, master, and guest bedrooms] with great success but I cannot seem to find exactly what I want in the living room. Our styles conflict [my own style even conflicts itself at times!] he is into contemporary spaces where as I'm into "livable" spaces. I like some country decor without over doing it but I also really like contemporary decor.

It's just so confusing. I would like to create a room that's functional, easy on the eye, and meets both country, classic, and contemporary styles. I don’t want a room that is just “thrown together.”

Do you have any ideas?

Do you know of any websites that have the purpose to design a room--not just the layout?

Thanks for your advice!!

I attempted to use the old gaskets and pipe dope to seal the threads, but the dang thing still leaks. Do you need to replace all gaskets every time you take apart a plumbed line? Do I need to use plumbers putty instead of pipe dope? any help would be excellent!
