Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

I just got this workout machine and when I started putting it together, I accidentally put the right pedal in where the left pedal is supposed to be and it seems as if I stripped some of the threads and now the left pedal is not fitting in. This sucks!

The worst is that the threads don't even look that bad, but the first two or so are, which is why it won't fit in.

Please tell me that it can be saved and how to save it!

Thanks

I need help! I have mice in my house. They are tearing up my food pantry and leaving a mess. I already have Orkin service, and he has left traps and bait stations with poison (some of which must be getting eaten because we're seeing and smelling dead mice here and there). Usually, we have trouble at the beginning of winter, and once Orkin puts out the bait stations, we don't see anymore. This year, we can't get on top of them. I cannot get a cat. I've plugged all the holes I can find with steel wool. They are driving me nuts!!!! Any ideas????

My Gfci protects 2 seperate plugs . When my washing machine is first turned on the water solenoids energise to let in hot and cold water inthe tub and trips the GFIC. It does this only on start up to fill the tub. As the cycle goes on and the solenoids let in water for the different cycles it will not trip the GFIC.The other plug that it protects has nothing pluged into it,When this plug is used and the washing machine is not in use it wont trip the GFIC.(GFCI Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter.) My Washing Machine is 2 years old Maytag.

When we flush our toilets, the water comes back up through a shower. We have tried an Auger, a snake, and enzymes, but nothing has worked. We think the clog is definitely in the main line. Is there any product that would work better for cleaning Main Sewer lines?

I have an auto liquid softener dispenser and it has left a funky film around the lint trap of the washer. I want to clean it and the only way I have tried (with an old toothbrush and bleach) was a little too time consuming. Any hints would help. Thanks in advance!

The tub wasn't draining, so we called out a professional who tried to snake it - to unclog the hair blocking the drain... so we all thought. When he removed the overflow tub stopper handle, the hardware behind it was no where to be found. The handle that you flip up and down to stop the tub draining wasn't connected to anything. He thinks that the brass weight has fallen down to the "stop draining" position and is sitting there. Any ideas on how to get it out? He has a co-worker coming tomorrow to look at cutting the wall open behind the tub, to cut the pipe open, to retrieve the interior plug. I NEED SOME HELP TO COME UP WITH A CREATIVE WAY TO LOWER SOMETHING DOWN to hook the plug and simply pull it up. Any ideas?

Many thanks!!

We have a two trees in our backyard. One is definitely a lemon tree and we thought the other was a lime tree, but lately we've noticed the lime tree producing bigger yellow fruit. Do limes get big and yellow like a lemon when not picked early enough or do I just have another lemon tree on my hands? Is there a way to tell the difference by looking at other physical characteristics?

I hit a skunk yesterday and it sprayed my car. The smell must have come in through my vents. I have tried everything I can think of, and my car still smells awful. Its on the inside. Its so bad, you cant stand to be in there. I scrubbed the whole inside down, used carpet fresh for pet odors, and sprayed Frebreeze, and an odor neutralizer. Now,its actually worse. It smells like flowered skunk. Any ideas? I havent been able to leave my windows down, its been raining and snowing. Any ones help will be appreciated.

I live 30 miles east of Seattle in an area that is frequently without power. Up until this year the outages were less than 48 hours but this year we have had repeated outages, one of which lasted 6 days after a stronger than usual windstorm. I had to scramble to find somewhere else to be. I lost several days of work, all the food in my refridgerator and freezer. At what point does it make sense to just install a standby generator?
