the sh** test, is where you use one of the hotels white towels and see if you've wiped your ars clean after having a poo!
you hold one end of the towel in front of you,and the other at the back of you passing through the crutch area, then rub hard to see if there is any debris or dodgy colours on towel

I have a section of drain pipe that has not seen a lot of use (remodeling), I had a clog and when trying to clear it I found a lot of white (furry) substance. I am guessing mold. Any ideas how to kill it and clear it out?

the jacket was kept in the basement where an overhead pipe leaked water on it and the jacket sat for at least a year so now its really stiff and the leather needs to be softened if possible. There is no mold on it. I washed it a few times with hot water and let it dry outside in the summer sun, but no luck. It is unwearable now...any suggestions?

I have exposed chrome plumbing to my shower head. I need more matching pipes to use structurally- some pipe, two flanges, and a 90 degree elbow- all of which will be exposed in the bathroom and must be chrome or stainless for appearances. It is for structure only- it does NOT have to carry water, be rated for safety, or even be hollow, for that matter. It doesn't have to have any significant strength either, anything metal will be strong enough. I have looked everywhere- scoured the internet, from plumbing warehouses to industrial supply companies, and asked at hardware stores, and no one has any or has any ideas who would. Yet I've seen it installed before, so it exists. Some came in the overhead shower kit that's installed in my bathroom. Someone must sell it. Any help, please?

Both claim to give a natural "white" light. The GE's are kind of purple while the Sylvania's are blue.

Is one better than the other? I need 2 60 watters.

Thanks.

I had to cut my water on and off for a few days b/c the water has been running inside the water heater. It seems like the water problem was coming from the bath tub. I had to replace the shower and the bath knobs for it to stop running. Now I am getting cold water due to this problem. How do I get the hot water to work again after cutting it on and off?

I have a sweater that's made from angora, viscose, and rabbit hair that sheds horribly leaving fuzz all over the place. I really love the sweater, but I don't want to walk around with a lint brush all day long either.

I replaced the 35 year old lux aire furnace in my house with a 83% amana in october...this bad boy is LOUD. It was installed by pros, and it is in a seperate room in my basement.
I have a little living room in the basement, and this thing is so loud that I have to turn up the TV when it kicks on.
Do you know , if in general new furnaces are louder?
The furnace works great, and my gas bill has gone down 20%..its just LOUD.

I have waxed it and have a needle through the knot but have made no progress. The string feeds venetian blinds which are between two panes of glass. Thus it can not be replaced without some work. The knot makes the string impassable through the small mechanism.

I received a lemon tree about a year ago.
It became infested with scale. The scale was so bad that we removed it from the dirt, cut all the branches down, sterlized the roots, and chemically treated the new dirt.
Suprisingly, it is still alive.
But now, about four months later it is infested with fruit flies. I am treating it with "Fruit and Vegetable Insect Spray", but I think it's starting to burn the leaves.
Any ideas how I can keep this poor tree form getting bugs?
I have no other plants in the house.
Thanks!

I have an older gas furnace with a pilot light. In the summer, when it doesn't need to be used, should I turn off the pilot light or leave it on year-round? Thanks.
