I have a section of drain pipe that has not seen a lot of use (remodeling), I had a clog and when trying to clear it I found a lot of white (furry) substance. I am guessing mold. Any ideas how to kill it and clear it out?

1/2 bleach and 1/2 water should be strong enough.
Let it soak if it is possible.

chlorine bleach is best ---cap off the other end and hold a 10% solution for 2-3 hours or scrub inside pipe with brush....most mold is more in the green -color area...
