First, why have your kids ruined a door and if you replace it, will they repeat their behavior? Second, try Habitat for Humanity for a used door. If you have none in your area, try a Menards, Lowe's, Home Depot, or any building center. Often there are inside doors clearanced and on a cash and carry basis. Of course, it is imperative that your take your measurements with you. Good luck with the door and the KIDS.

An interior door right?

Is the door frame in good shape? If so measure the door height width etc. Just the door itself don't worry about the frame, when you get the door and frame home take the new door off, replace the old door with the new one. You might have to move a hinge and trim the door to size, but then you won't have to replace the trim, and etc.

If you do have to replace the frame, don't forget to get trim to match. It not that hard of a job to replace the door frame, start with the hinge side, make sure it's plume and work from there.

Yes, even if you have to replace the door frame and trim, $350 should be enough, depending on the style of the door.

Just a though, look into a recycle door. You might have to look around a place that handles used doors, but you might get one to match the rest of the house and make it an easy swap.

That amount should get it replaced. Go to Lowes or HD. They should have a qualified installer available to do the job. If you have it to spend, it`s always a good idea to have a professional do the work. Especially one who stands behind it.
