I have a new sewing machine, purchased about 6 months ago; the model number is 5040. I do adore it; the only problem is there's no overedge option/foot. Now I'm assuming I can't just buy an overedge foot if there's not option for it? If I'm wrong do let me know. But what is the next best thing I can do to sew my own clothes and for them not to look amateurish, using my machine, without doing the overedge? Would it be better if I traded my machine for another one and pay a little more money? Or should I even consider buying a serger? Any and all input will be immensely appreciated!

Hey guys,
I'm getting ready to plane some 3/4" barn wood to use as flooring with a 13" Delta planer. What size dust collector would be sufficient?
Thanks for any suggestions.

I can't afford my first choice loft insulation (sheep's wool), so I need to choose between glass fibre insulation or rockwool. Can anyone recommend one over the other? Is there a better third alternative? I know either of these can cause an allergic skin/throat reaction, but do they pollute the wider environment as well? I am extremely keen to minimise environmental damage.
