my detector rings while cleaning the bathroom

You have a carbon monoxide detector.

It is unlikely that the CO detector going off is related to cleaning in the bathroom. These detect CO molecules (which are combustion byproducts) and it takes time to accumulate. You may want to have an HVAC tech come in and inspect your furnace. Your bathroom vent and furnace likely are sharing the same vent to the outside of your home and CO is probably coming in.

I can not remember exactly how those detectors work, but the disinfectant has a carbon compound in it evidentally and the spray is making it airborne. You need to unplug it or use a different one to keep this from happening. Have a great holiday!
