No. It's a scam and my dad fell for it when I was a kid.

It's supposed to put out some supersonic frequency that only bugs and mice can hear. That's great, but bugs don't have ears and it doesn't bother mice at all.

Mice have a super high-frequency range of hearing and so do dogs. This pest thingy didn't bother Fido, so it isn't going to bother the mouse. I guess that logic should have told my dad to keep the $20.

Ask the tremendous or manager what they do to circumvent infestations. we are in a mid-upward push . . . . 2 a lengthy time period previous. administration has a pest company that does the fringe and underground storage 4 circumstances a 365 days. They tell me that the most important issues are in the rooms the position trash drops from the chutes around the homes . . . . . from there, insects would go back and forth alongside the plumbing pipes to human being gadgets. subsequently, the pest company is accessible in two times a 365 days and places a touch dab of goo everywhere a pipe comes out of the partitions: lower than all sinks, washing gadget, warm water tank, lavatories, and so on. inspite of the stuff is, any insects that come alongside would music the stuff back to everywhere they nest. would not remember what floor you're on - insects go back and forth throughout the time of - the ingredient is to circumvent them getting a stronghold. In 4 years we've under no circumstances seen a unmarried computer virus !

It worked for me. Used it for raccoons and squirrels. The way to think of it is that it irritates them only. Meaning it will make them want to leave. But they won't if they're attending young or it has a food source. Just like if you were starving, you would eat in a noisy restaurant, but not if you wanted to chat with a buddy over coffee...

No, they do not. I have seen people use these to rid their homes of roaches, only to find that the roaches set up housekeeping inside the device. I have also seen mice in homes with "high frequency mouse chasers".
