There are fabric and plastic shower curtains availible everywhere you go, BUT.... none so small that you can hang for a window. Pick out a full size curtain and trim it to the size you need, the cloth curtains usually have a hem at the bottom. Flip the curtain upside down so you can use the hem to slip a rod through and hang it as you would a regular curtain. A plastic curtain will have the big holes in it so it may be cumbersome ( hanging it on a 3/4 standard pole with big ring hooks ) but it will do the job. Try the water resistant fabric first as it looks better and it makes for a better look. There isn't much waste if you cut and hem as many as you can for back ups / with the material you have to work with.
Have fun creating stuff with ALL the fabric left.

Home Depot has a product which is super to use on windows, giving complete privacy. It isn't cheap, but it's the best thing to use on the glass. It doesn't need paste or glue. Just made a template of the window, use it to cut out the plastic film, pray the glass and apply the film. It's very easy to remove too. Sorry I can't remember the name of the product, but the staff will be able to direct you to it. Not much point in putting up a venetian blind whether metal or vinyl - it will get dirty from soaps and shampoo. Same with a curtain made from plastic shower curtains. They get really mucky and never look good.

I have the same problem and I plan to buy a vinyl shower curtain liner and cut it to size and hang it. At least it won't be visible unless you are taking a shower or bath since we keep our shower curtain closed all of the time.

I found this site on the web. Do a search on vinyl window curtains and I'm sure you'll find more. You could also just buy an inexpensive vinyl shower curtain and cut it to fit your window.

Why not use a shower curtain liner. I would choose a nice pattern, cut it to a nice size and make two tie back for each side.

Buy another matching shower curtain, if you have one, or buy a new one and cut it to the right size for your window in your shower. :-)

Wash the curtain and then spray it with a water repellent. They sell cans of that stuff where you can buy tents and shoes.
