What is a natural way to repell caterpallars. They get in my place and die and if I dont see them they get squished and they stain. How do I keep them out of my place?

They are a mess, and when I tore up the old liner, a whole bunch of dirt came up too. They told me at the nursery not to let dirt get on top of the new plastic as that is a breeding ground for new weeds, but I have no idea how to get rid of the dirt from the rocks.

Ok this is insane. After 29 years of doing laundry, I have never had a top loading washing machine "eat" my shirt. It is wrapped around the little thing that sticks up in the middle. I don't even know how to describe it, it is so crazy. I can't figure out if I'm able to take the pole thing in the middle out. I can't figure out which way it is twisted..I am going crazy...It was a brand new Ralph Lauren shirt *cries* helpp!

I have an older home and the kitchen has 12 x 12 tiles. On the tiles there are stains that almost look like someone took a rope and rolled it all over the floor. I have tried bleach but that did not work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are your beds cleaned out? What did you do to refresh their nutrients? I'm mostly interested in flowers. What veggies? Any roses shrubs or trees going into the ground? I'm so excited that we made it through August. I wanna get going!

My 10 year old Dirt Devil finally died on me and I am shopping around for a new vacuum cleaner. Does anyone know a good, high quality, strong suction vacuum cleaner out there? I have been thinking about Dyson Animal, since I have 2 dogs in the house.
Does anyone know if this is a good kind to buy? Or would you recommend something else? Also, if you have a Dyson, how is it working out for you? Is it as great as they say it is?
Any advice is appreciated! thank you. dana

I used a good primer on my new drywall and a good quality paint over that. The paint now completely dry is peeling off whenever it's touched. It's getting very frustrating. What am I doing wrong?

I opened the bin today and there were a bunch of gnats flying around in it and some of the top layer had mold. What should I do?

what architectural or design features are unique to your area? do you know why they exist? give your state or country, if you like!

my answer: here in coastal north carolina, no homes seem to have basements (it's obvious why) many have carports instead of garages (maybe because garages get too warm?) almost all homes i've been in have no shortage of ceiling fans. there are not many raised wooden decks, but quite a few attached concrete porches. maybe the wood doesn't hold up well in the humidity.
