I've found that you get used to it. But, if it really bothers you, smearing roquefort on the affected area seems to dampen the smell somewhat.

Gosh Darned Giraffes! Just steam clean it and the vomit smell will come out just nice. Then spray it with Febreeze. Keep your giraffe on the floor.....not the furniture

I don't know anything about vomit but I can tell you, you should be glad it wasn't urine. I saw one in the Washington Zoo that urinated for a solid 3 minutes! Yea, I know it was stupid to watch, but I couldn't believe how long it took.

clean with vinegar- worked for me. The smell is bad but not as bad as what you described- and this one will go away!!1

put arm and hammer baking soda on it...let it sit overnight...then brush it off. Haven't had a giraffe, but works good on rhino barf...

You could use pinesol at least it would get the smell out..then shampoo it with resolve.

Flesh eating beetles and a scented candle. That's what I do. I hate when that happens.
