A can of Aqua Net hair spray and a cigarette lighter can be used to fantastic results. Just use short quick bursts to conserve the hair spray. You only need to get them enough to singe their wings.
This method doesn't give the trailer trash look like fly strips do, and the instant gratification produced by seeing the fireball and flies falling is great. Just be carefull.

Sounds dumb, but try it. Take a zip lock baggy, fill it with water and tack it right above the door...Im in Arizona and the Mexicans do this all the time.. it really does work..dont know why

Buy a fly catcher. They come in a green and clear plastic bag and all you do is add water. You can buy them at Walmarts and probably at grocery stores. They work great. Sorry I can`t remember the name....Hang it outdoors...

dont open the door. or get a flame thrower. i have one and it does wonders.
