What is the rule of thumb when working on a siding project like this? To cover it exactly I need 60 boards of 1x6x10...but I know I need more since I will be cutting the wood to work around the windows and such...so how much extra do I need? Should I order 25% or 50 % more panels of what is needed than the real square footage (total - windows)?

My maple tree is about 6 feet tall, I planted it this spring and it was going fine all summer, gave new brnaches and was fine. But it's September now and I am not sure if my tree is sick or it is just changing leaf color for the fall. The leaves are faded lime and some tiny yellow, brown spots cover them...the leaves are rough to touch...but not dry though...

IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT?
