currently have a little green machine that leaks out the bottom. previously had upright cleaner that leaked and shorted out, motors on two spot lifters burned out.
not good products?

I've not had that problem with my Bissel, at least yet. But then, I've been watching it closely and stopping any problems before they started too. I can't say anything about that little green machine: Mine's an upright bagless.

And yes, the Dirt Devils I used to use when I worked as a housekeeper were good little machines too.

Well, I have had leaky bissels before, but they are supposed to be very reliable vacuumes. Come to think of it, most of the carpet shampooing vacuums I've had eventually leaked somewhere.

Try Dirt Devil also under the company name "Royal".

My little green machine leaked like crazy....finally tossed it in the trash!
