When is a grapefruit ready to pick ?

Pick one and test it. Especially if they are dropping. My neighbor had some, and we were given a bunch since the tree was starting to flower and they wanted the fruit gone. Fresh grapefruit is great. Plus if it is organically grown, you can sugar the peelings. I did that for some lemons that I had and it was great.

when they become large well usual size of a grapefruit! Pick one and cut it if the peel is nice white not too thick and the pulp is juicy
