Several electrical outlets in my home have 'oozed' a green ointment-like film. It comes from the receptacle to the wall plate especially when a plug is inserted / withdrawn. The first observance was after a main floor reno when a lot of electrical work was done including a panel replacement and kitchen makeover.

I mean when you freezer, fridge, cooker has broken down, you want to buy a replacement right away, if its a freezer you probably have frozen food, your try to save, dotted around to friends neighbours and family, which is acceptable for a day or to, but when you find out the quickest you can get a suitable replacement is 30 working days its not

Or you got to do without a cooker and you got 5 children to cook for and the company promised 5 working days and then never calls you after you ring to say I took unpaid leave off work to sit and wait for them to deliver and it didn't turn up, they promise to call back and never do, they took your money, so you cancel cause they broke the contract by not delivering when promised, you then get told that due to how they operate, the quickest you can get your money back is in 30 working days, so they leave you high and dry unable to go buy elsewhere as they have all your saved money , how do companies keep getting away with it?

The bricks on the outside of my fireplace are spalling. It was explained to me that the spalling occurs from the freeze-thaw cycle here in Northeast Ohio. Also, I'm wondering if it's possible that the more porous interior-only bricks were used during construction. (Home is about 30 years old.) One contractor told me this is basically a cosmetic problem, another told me it's a serious problem that needs to be addressed. The inspector who looked at this house before I bought it did not deem it a structural problem. The fireplace was wood-burning converted to gas. It's been used twice in a year. It's not really unsightly, kind of rustic looking. Just want to make sure it won't come tumbling down outside in the yard. Any thoughts?

I have noticed many plants growing around my house which produce small, circular berries with varied colors. I was looking on the internet and thought it was maybe deadly nightshade, but I found a map of the range of deadly nightshade and it says they don't live in hio. This plant grows beside wood piles and buildings. Does anybody know what this is?

How do you cure a pack rat? We have a tiny house and I'm drowning in my wifes clothes because we have all the items from when her weight fluctuates, she won't throw anything out and she even holds onto the (empty)boxes that were used to pack all our stuff. Xmas stuff, old computers, plugs and wires(that don't belong to anything), 10 old telephones, old stereos, years worth of magazines and boxes and boxes and boxes of clothes. We can't afford a storage unit and we don't have a garage, just a carport. It can't be she's trying to save money, I'm the one who watches what I spend. Help! I'm tired of twisting and turning just to walk through improvised paths in my house and I'm tired of arguing about it.

I noticed today while feeding the chickens that there is an enormous amount of big red ants taking off with the chickens food on the ground in their coop. I have seven hens, one rooster and four guineas. The coop is very big. I was wondering do they eat the ants too?

My cousin in California had an addition built on her house and paid the contractor who was reckomended by a long time friend. He done poor work and does not return her calls to fix things that are not right. Who can she complain to to make him honor his contract? Or who can she file a complaint with? He hired different men every time he went there so there is no one else to call for poor work. The stucko on out side is cracking, windows painted shut, nail holes not filled, no insulation on roof vent, other things. Any help would be greatly appreacheated.
