My neighbor's cat likes to hunt birds in my yard. I would like to know what if anything will stop them from laying in wait in certain areas? Is there a spray or something that will keep them away from certain areas?

In my area we use pellet guns to discourage cats and other unwanted pests. You might be able to do the same. A pump gun offers the opportunity to sting the critters without injuring or killing them.

Good luck with your situation.

Some stores sell pet repellent in either powder or spray. There is also a "water scarecrow" (look on ebay) , a motion activated sprinkler head that sprays a quick burst of water when something (cat) gets too close. Perhaps a dog? Good luck

Sure, get a female cat have her spayed and let your yard be her area, she will designate her boundries through urinating round a perimiter and different cats will keep away. Of path you have to feed her and love her and be a dependable pet proprietor. Other than that pour some ammonia into small plastic containers with lids like margarine tubs poke holes within the lids aand bury them at intervals of about 2 toes around the perimeter of you yard.

There is a spray that you can buy from the garden supply. I think I have also read that burying moth balls in your yard will help keep cats at bay.

There are commercial sprays in garden departments designed to discourage cats and dogs. Cats also dislike citrus, so you might spread orange and/or lemon peels in those areas.

There are sprays on the market. No idea if they work or not. Have you tried talking with your neighbor. Let them know what's going on, they might not be aware
