A Yahoo search for "ant extermination" (include the quotation marks in the search box) yields 2710 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find the information you seek.

Good luck with your search.

Ants are probably the hardest thing to get rid of!!! We are having a major problem with them at the daycare center where I work.

Get a can of Raid or something and spray it in all the ant holes you find around your house...this will kill off those colonies...I did that when I started having ants and it took care of it.

Unfortunately, you probably have them in your walls. Try spraying Raid around the floorboards and windows and doorways of your house (this helps keep other bugs out, too)...you may want to confine your pets to one room and don't spray in there...then, the next day, let your pets out and spray that room. I use Raid all the time and have 3 cats...once it's dry, I don't think it can really hurt them (mine haven't keeled over yet).

Go through your kitchen and make sure all your food...especially sugar products are tightly sealed. Confine eating to the kitchen table and sweep or vacuum after meals and always wipe down your counters. Take your trash out reguarly. Rinse pop cans out before putting them in the trash.

I don't know what else to tell you...you've probably already tried this. I'd say call the exterminator...but that's what we did at the daycare center and the ants were better for a couple of weeks, but now they are back!!!!

Good luck.

I've been using the see one kill one method, works good so far. The ant population has dramitically dropped. First, I kill them, second, when I kill them, they can't go back to the nest to report of food.
