My living room is going to be laminate wood flooring, but I am thinking of using another surface for the entry area, to create a sort of mudroom space. What flooring should I use? I want something very durable because the kids run in and out with sand and mud. Slate? The style of the house is rustic, so the polished or modern look wouldn't fit. Thanks for your input!

is starting to die too. i found a bunch of small holes in the bark. like someone poked a pencil into it. there were some small blackish bugs like mini beetles, but they were tiny & too small to hurt a big tree. could a shot gun blast from far away kill a tree? lots of small holes in groups? help.

Haven't used it in years. Now it's rusty. It's a really good wok. I'd like to rescue it if I can.

How do I get the rust off but still have it safe for foods.

I have a house cleaning business and while cleaning a home today I can upon many black worms. They ranged in size from 1 cm to 1 - 1 1/2 in. long. They are no thicker around than a Q-Tip (the stick between the ends). What are they? They showed up overnight according to the homeowner. Can ANYONE help me, do I need to call an exterminator????

Our items would be in storage from 6-8 months, Can you plz give me some tips such as what to use to keep bugs & rodents away? Also should I place all the original plastic packaging back on the couch and bed? Our storage unit is paid for already and is not climate controlled is it true to place open bottles of bleach in the unit to keep mold and mildew away? Any tips at all would help me!! My water pump to my well is not getting enough pressure to turn it's self off. I have a pre-charged air tank and it has about 36 p.s.i. My pump is set to shut off at about 48 p.s.i, should I put more air in the air tank? Or am I wasting my time with that route? I have no water at my house so any help will be greatly appreciated.

In the next six months we are probably going to buy a new house around £280K. How much is it roughly is it going to cost us to move. We aren't selling our currant place, so aren't worried about selling costs, just buying and moving costs. I can think of stamp duty, moving vans, solicitors fees, have I missed anything? What have been peoples experiences with moving costs? Thanks.
