In my front yard we have an old milk-can. (So old you won't believe it!) Anyway, my father was wanted to mow under it so he moved the milk-can. Under it, was a small garder snake. Should we get rid of it? He really doesn't do any harm and i know garder snakes don't bite but my father wants it out. I told him he doesn't bother anyone but he insists. The snake is kinda cute. What should i do?

It runs fine until you turn the pressure on, and then it dies.

i bought a pretty expensive bedroom suite, its made by a brand name furniture maker. its a white wash, its been made to look like its old. well i have yellow spots coming out on it, looks like mustard. i called the store where i bought it, they contacted the people who made it. they said it was the wood and promised to mail me some touch up paint to fix it, but never did.the store where i bought it, say theres nothing they can do, because its been discontinued. is there any thing i can do to fix this problem? it looks awlful.

Curtains are the typical (I think) off-white ones you see in SF Bay Area - kind of creamish color...

Apartment Manager says we need to replace and the dry cleaning laundry whose number the manager gave both said its not possible to get those stains out without bleach - so we need to replace them.

Is there a non bleach solution to this problem without replacing the curtains?

Also are there rules/statutes on how often curtains need to be changed based on how long a tenant has lived in that apartment? Just like carpets etc.

I've tried slug pellets, and anti-slug tape, but it is still being consumed. Any other ideas?

The leaves on this new bush are beautiful. I started it from a previous posted question recommendation of taking a cutting of the stalk and rooting it in water. These cuttings have been very successful yet the new plants are getting brown tips.

I suspect I am watering it too much but then again maybe I am not watering it enough? That's my dilemna and my story and I'm sticking to it!

There was no smoke or fire. I just moved in to this condominium and I noticed that it intermittently gave out a split second sound like a bird chirping. This morning, I woke up to a continuous siren-sounding noise that was not as loud as a smoke alarm detecting smoke.

I am live in suburban, South Eastern PA. I am looking for some ideas of really cool, wicked looking ornamental trees. Something that is relatively on the smaller side (< 10 ft tall). I want something unique that people are going to look at and say, "wow, that is really an awesome looking tree" Any Ideas? Thanks!
