If that's the best you can do to describe your problem, you should probably call Sears appliance service. They are honest and knowledgeable.

If it is electric there is a little white thing in there with what looks like black rubber in it. The black is some sort of carbon product. Mine is a circular white piece, but I know they come as ovals too. Check this with a volt meter. Use the OHMS setting if it reads 0 then it is shot. It is a style of fuse. Or if you don't have an Ohm meter then just replace it, they are only about $5. you will have to take the back off of the dryer to get to it.

need more infor, but make sure the dryer door switch is working .
turn knob slowly trying to sense any clicks in the knob.should be some no real hard or sticks
listen and see if your motor is running , a humm of some sort, if so change the beltsimple and kinda easy(LOL)
take a light and plug it into the socket where your dryer plugs in and make real sure that plug is hot

not much to go on here, but if you hear anything that sounds like a motor running, then I would suspect a broken belt. There is a belt that actually runs around the drum that makes it turn. There is not much else EXCEPT the controls. If that goes, it can get pretty expensive to replace. A belt is cheaper but not too much fun to change out.

If you don't hear a motor running then you need to check your controls and cable(with a volt meter(just start at the motor and work your way back). If you hear a motor then its probably the belt that gos around the drum and motor( a little tricky to replace but not hard)

IS THIS A GAS OR ELECTRIC DRYER ? IF ITS GAS MAKE ABSOLUTLEY SURE YOU ARE GETTIN POWER TO THE OUTLET. IFTHAT'S THE CASE THEN LOOK FOR AN INTERNAL BREAKER ON THE DRYER OR A RE-SET BUTTON -USUALLY RED - ON THE BACK OF THE MOTOR. RE-SET AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS

If it just stopped check the breaker and see if it got tripped. Need more information for other problems. Like signs and symptoms.
