I already have the wet- patch kit. How do i use this? Also can I run my filter while my pool is covered? Do I still add all the things I add, like chlorine & shock even though I will cover it after?

You use the patch under water and seal off the hole. I left my pump on for about 6 hours a day while it was covered. I shocked it real good before covering it. When I opened it up for the summer, it was just as clear as when I closed it. You don't have to add anything while it's closed.

I put in pools in for two years. those patches work under water. just make sure you apply enough glue and pressure to the patch. i usually apply enough that is seeps out of the patch everywhere to assure you have enough glue. you can wipe away the excess glue. and of coure you can run your filter while the cover is on. you should be running the filter everyday. The chemicals will not hurt the solar cover but may discolor it in time.

fallow the directions for the wet patch, but the ones I have used you just swim down put the patch on leave it alone for 24 hours then go on as normal.
