Don't get me wrong, the manure comes in useful, but my salads are suffering. How can I trap them?

Ah, this sounds like a case for the old pit-with-poisonous-pointed-sticks-in.

I read you can also use your own faeces if you haven't got any poison handy!

Let loose aload of mice! But try not to get knocked down in the stampede. If you've got any manure spare I could do with some for my roses! Ever wondered why elephants are wrinkly?? Have you ever tried ironing one???????

As long as they are only eating lettuce, they should be down to 1,000 lbs in a few months... then you can catch them in a humane trap and release it into the wild.

Fake mice.

It will scare them into climbing the trees where they'll get stuck. (You ever see an elephant come down from a tree?)

Mice are a myth.
Use pigs, elephants hate the sound of squeeling pigs.

i suggest mice as pest control...elephants don't like em. But then u'd need cats to get rid of the mice.

kill the elephants and sell their tusks on the black market. use the money to hire migrant farm workers to harvest your lettuce.
