Let loose aload of mice! But try not to get knocked down in the stampede. If you've got any manure spare I could do with some for my roses! Ever wondered why elephants are wrinkly?? Have you ever tried ironing one???????

As long as they are only eating lettuce, they should be down to 1,000 lbs in a few months... then you can catch them in a humane trap and release it into the wild.

Fake mice.
It will scare them into climbing the trees where they'll get stuck. (You ever see an elephant come down from a tree?)

i suggest mice as pest control...elephants don't like em. But then u'd need cats to get rid of the mice.
