We've talked to the builder and plumbers. No one seems to know why it smells so bad when it rains.

I have a DG120 Tork timer system. Here is a schematic of the wiring for it: http://tork.com/pdf48w.htm

I believe i have hooked it up correctly but when i turn on this sytem to set the schedule i notice that it is already providing output to the load (which is an outlet jack area, 2 of them, where i connect my pond pumps to). Its very strange because although the timer system says it is "OFF" i am still getting power to the load. The wiring is in a way that the "NO" has a wire connected to it (see the diagram) but there is no wire to "NC".

And here is where it gets stranger. When i move the wire from "NO" to "NC" i notice i only get output power to one outlet jack area and not to both areas. And it still didn't matter if the timer system was showing "OFF". It still was providing power to the one outlet jack.

My guess is the internal switch is damaged and stuck part way between "NO" and "NC" but mostly at "NO" which would explain why it gives full power to both jacks.

I have let my grass grow too long. It is a very healthy green color though but i am afraid that when i cut it the grass will loose its dark greeness and become yellow. Is this true? Will the grass be so damaged from the mowing because i let it grow so high? I have read that it is best to cut the grass high and often because it makes the grass stronger. I still dont get the logic behind that. But please help me out and let me know what i can expect when i do cut my grass down to normal size. Right now its about 5 inches long -- and i will be cutting it down to 2-3 inches.

If you could spray anything onto your clothes or linens when you iron, what would it be? What if you could spray it directly from your iron instead of using a separate bottle or can?

My veggie garden, flowers and even the leaves on my trees are being ate up by june bugs. They swarm my yard and are eating all the foliage on anything green around my house. My biggest problem is in my veggie garden. How can I get rid of them w/out using poisons.

I'm going to call an exterminator to get rid of them but until then do you have any home remedies to kill a black widow spider? I have three cats to worry about so the "poison" has to be pet-friendly.

I just bought a house that never had a clothing drier. So since I do not have Gas service, I purchased a brand new Electric Drier. Now I need to run electric for the drier and it calls for a 30 AMP circuit breaker. The home was recently upgraded to a 200 AMP Service and the circuit box in the utility room is the brand "Challenger". I noticed that one of the other 30 AMP breakers had the code "C230" on it. Do I need a Challenger C230 brand breaker or are there other kinds that I can get. My local Lowe’s and Home Depot do not carry that brand.
