I need tips on how to install tiles around bathroom walls. I have the walls up and taped. Now what???
I leveled and drew a line under the window cell horizontal and vertical.
1) Do I start tiling from the tub up?
2) How do I seal - or do I have to seal the tiles (Ceramic tiles 4x4)?
3) What type of sealer should I use? Please give me a name that I can easily find @HD or loews.

I need a 25 foot extension cord for my arc welder. The outlet is 50 amps and in my garage. There are some things I need to weld that I can only get to my driveway and not close to the outlet. What gauge wire should I use to make the extension cord?

I've searched the Internet for the recipe for organic bug spray. I know you use water and liquid dish soap. But how much of each? All the websites give different amounts of soap.

I have lots of weeds in the yard, and I think I have a bug problem too (brown patchy areas, and just plain bare areas). Can I apply a weed and feed and then something to kill the bugs at the same time, or do I need to wait a while between the two?

My house has been put on the market for sale and I have had quite a few visitors viewing it. I have noticed that most of the viewers don't take their shoes and in most cases don't even offer! The times that I have asked for them to take their shoes off, they seem absolutely flabbergasted and they seem to put in a bad mood! I just wondered if anyone else had similar experiences or people's opinions on this. This is still my home before it sells with my property in it. Surely it's not too much to ask to take their shoes off? Especially when I've cleaned the place up and down prior to their visit.

I have a room that is very long in length and short in width.

One wall on the lengthwise axis is slanted in, with a window set in the centre. There is a small skylight in the ceiling and deep blue carpet which I cannot change.

What colours will open up my room and make it funky? I was thinking also of having a feature wall on the slanted wall. What do you think? What does everyone think of painted on effects, like a tricolour wall or a stencil in the centre? Thanks!

I had this candle wax that i figured I'd use in the bathroom for incense. I placed it on the top of the toilet and it leaned back a little. Not realizing when the wax melted it drizzled all the way down the back of the toilet, sliding down the wall on to the floor. I know you can scrape up dried wax but how do I get it off my white wall without damaging the wall and paint. This is a brand new house and I don't wanna have to have them repaint it 4 sum wax.
