Not yellow. I live in a small apt. Want to make it look larger. Right now it is taupe and the cupboards are white which is quite bland.

I had my pool opened professionally and they shocked it and said everything is fine. Then, we put in the chlorine tablets like we were told but the chlorine level is not showing up for some reason. Are we supposed to be doing something else also?

I have a rolling chair with casters that screw into the base, but one has stripped out. Both the male (bolt) and female (hole) threads arer stripped. I can't find a similar caster, so I want to rethread this one. I know how to use tap and die to cut threads, but are there any tricks to make the re-threading work well in this case?

Dumb question but...

Are drywall plugs only necessary for heavy items? I am hanging curtain holdbacks and they are very light. The package came with screws and plastic plugs, but are the plastic plugs really necessary?

Here are the two tractors:

The Craftsman weighs 7 pounds more than the Deere tractor. So does that mean the Craftsman tractor is slightly more heavy duty?

Note: The Deere tractors weight is not listed on the website. I had to call up the store to find out the weight. They said the Deere tractor weighs 579 pounds. And on the Sears website, the Craftsman tractor is listed as 586 pounds.

You would be an intern at Taproot Farm. You would be living on beautiful Orcas Island in the Puget Sound north of Seattle, WA. Taproot farm is a 30 acre farm with 2 horses pasturing in the fields, 2 acres of food (vegetables/fruits/and orchards). The family consists of 2 experienced farmers/gardeners willing to share their knowledge and a 12 yr. old farm girl. The farm needs some work and we would appreciate someone helping out. anyone who is interested please email me. It would be a great experience to learn about farming/gardening and to explore a knew place, and meet new friends. We are kinda desperate to find someone, so if you have ANY interest please contact me so that I can give you more information.
Thank you!

I've checked many websites and stores nearby. It seems that square is not an option unless I want to spend a bundle of $ on custom frames. Thanks.

The local council laid concrete, very badly. Should I have deck laid on top, pavers, have it skimmed or have it smashed up and relaid?

ok here is my problem. I just moved into a place less than a month ago. Well 2 days after I move in my toilet starts to leak really bad. I looked at it and it looked like someone just put some type of glue stuff to just mask the problem. Well I did not mention this to the landlord right away because I did not want to seem like I was going to be an annoying tenant but as a couple of days pass the leaking got very bad so I had to tell him. Well anyways... he took out the toilet which besides leaking was in great condition and he replaced it with an old looking toilet that was all moldy and dirty. Well he said he fixed the problem and that I owe him $125 for the replacment of the toilet. I asked him why I owe him. He said because I broke the toilet!! I did not break it. And it is not my fault if it leaks. Well he says I have to pay it. I don't think this is fair. He said the toilet has been there for 40 years with no problems and now its broken. Im only renting this place!I please help!
