I havent seen a ghost, but an old guy told me once, that he saw his father and mother (long dead) standing behind him, whilst looking in a mirror, when he turned around, they were gone, he moved out of the house, and built a small shed in the backyard, and refused to ever step foot inside the original house again.
He was a World War 1 soldier, and he was about 80 years old, when he told me this story, he passed away in a nursing home many years ago.

My brother used to. When he would tell people the house was haunted, if they said he was lying the TV would flick on and flip through all the channels faster than a person could and turn off again. Cans of soda would be moved and a heavy storage door would just open.
I also have friends who lived in an apartment across from a cemetary and one day one heard the door open and looked out to see who it was to see and old man and a little boy walk down the hall to the bedrooms and disappear. They would wake up all the time to find all the door locks undone.

The house I live in right now is haunted. I have also had experiences at my sister-in-laws old house and a place I had once worked.

Sure, a lady named Mrs. Abernathy haunts a back bedroom closet. She never leaves the closet because she is still looking for her shoes, left there long ago and now gone.

I believe there was a friendly ghost in the house I live in now; I moved in ninetten years ago and had several encounters--nothing unpleasant--eerie, at times. I haven't had an encounter with it since 1998---really don't know why--perhaps he (it was a he) moved on.

My grandmother always thought her house was haunted, but not in a bad way. She had doors opening by themelves and roses blooming in winter, but she was never scared.
