and my wee boy is finding it hard to make new friends. they won't play with him because he had chicken pox a few weeks ago, bit still has the fading spots. they don't understand they can't catch them ow. i know kids will be kids, but its upsetting him and breaking my heart. he's a nice wee lad who gets on with everyone. any advice will be great

she or he sits on my fence everyday and sings and i feed it bread and seems very happy, am i mad to think it is the same one, other birds come into my garden but dissapear when i open my door but this litle blackbird doesnt leave until i feed it and comes back every day, what doyou think?

I had a weird accident when my tour bus stopped at a gas station and my favorite t-shirt and jeans were soaked in gasoline. I washed them in the rest stop bathroom sink with some of the hand soap. Then, when I got to my destination, I put them in the washing machine. However, the smell is still really pronounced. If I wash them a couple more times, will it go away? What's the best solution to get rid of gasoline smell?

Omg, I saw this big nasty spider in my house, went and stepped on it, and i'm not kidding, 500 baby spiders crawled out from under my shoe and went everywhere. I grabbed some windex and murdered them all. lol... NASTY. My mom used to have palmetto bugs fly into her hair when we lived in Fla all the time. Cockroaches are bad, but flying ones are worse.

We have just realised that a wild hedgehog visits our garden early evening. I have started leaving out a tiny amount of hedgehog food for it to supplement it's diet, and we saw it eat it all last night. Does anyone else have these little visitors?

i'm looking for a 2 bedroom or more in or within a 20 minute commute (with traffic) from the Old Town area of Alexandria. MUST allow 55 pound dog. Looking for 6 month lease - maybe 12. Wanting to pay 1300 or less - prefer something around 1200 and deposit must be refundable. (someone wanted a 950 NON refundable - that's crazy!) My issues is that I am not sure what areas are safe and which ones will cause me to sit in traffic for an hour.

nothing gets stains out of my laundry!!! I've tried the Oxy stuff, the Spray and whatever stuff, all color bleach, the rubbing in of the laundry detergent, the yellow stuff, the purple stuff, the white vinegar, and the new shout/oxy double stuff.

I'm just talking abouit everyday stains...a little bit of food grease here and there. A little bit of red clay. Dirty doggie prints. Occasionally blood and grass stains. Nothing unusual.

Anybody know anything that I don't?

I have bamboo blinds for my windows and I want to dye them red. I was thinking of soaking them in red dye.

(1) Is bamboo the kind of material that will absorb dye well?
(2) Do you have any recommendations for a good dye to use?
(3) Do you have a suggestion for a better way to turn them red?

My backyard was destroyed by the previous owners, its slanted and sinks in the middle and is covered with weeds and old ant bumps. I want a nice smooth yard with nice grass that you can walk in barefeet in. Is it possible that I can just dump dirt on the current grass (on top of weed blocker thats a black sheet) and just lay new grass on top? Any ideas? its a nasty backyard!
