I have bamboo blinds for my windows and I want to dye them red. I was thinking of soaking them in red dye.

(1) Is bamboo the kind of material that will absorb dye well?
(2) Do you have any recommendations for a good dye to use?
(3) Do you have a suggestion for a better way to turn them red?

Thank you.

If it's not treated, I would try this stuff. It says it is designed for dying bamboo among other stuff.

I haven't ever used it, but I use lots of stuff from Dharma and it's all been pretty good.
