In general, a domestic helper in Hong Kong will earn two to five times as much as they do in Singapore. This is why many domestic helpers go there for work. However, the cultural differences are bigger and the language barrier is harder to overcome. As a reference, domestic helpers in Singapore earn between $350 - $600 a month, depending on which country they come from and their skill level.
