If you wanna to open small scale manufacture of candles then you have to set up the machine for that and you will get raw material from the market or if you just wanna to learn how to make candles then collect waste material of candles from your home candles only after their burn collect there wax and melt it again and give the shape in which shape you like.

take a length of string and dip it in melted wax then hang it up to set

repeat as many times as you need to get the desired thickness and/or colour effects

usually its easiest to make 2 candles at a time using both ends of the string (so make it twice as long as you need) so the free string in the centre can be used to suspend them while the wax is setting
