Well what is your favorite color?Do it that color. You could always take a class at Home depot or Loews on specialty/faux finish painting and really do your room like a real decorator would do it. Have your best friend take it with you and you can both help each other do both of your rooms.

Check the Sherwin-Williams, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. sites and view the many colors that are available. Take a good look at what is in your room and then pick a color, or colors, that will allow your things to match and that you really like and would want to show your friends when it's finished. Once you pick a few colors, that you like, go to one of the stores and get some of the sheets showing the colors that you picked. Take them home and hold the sheets up to the wall and/or other items and make your decision.

Depends on your favourite colors and what your parents will allow. My 14 yr old wants blue and green in her room...probably light blue walls and a slightly darker green for the trim...go with what makes you feel comfortable and the types of paint or wall paper you want to choose and how much other stuff you have in your room. You can also you bits of fabric tacked up to check out how you feel about the colors and patterns...Good luck

Find a color chart that shows a large sampling of colors. Go with your heart and choose the one you love. Use it and enjoy. Trust yourself.
Another way to answer your question is to look in your closet and see what color you tend to buy most often for clothing. That could tell you what your favorite color is.

If your a spunky type lady, you would want some bright, but not so loud colors, such as a type of blue and a type of soft and light green, but if your the mellow and quite type, you might think of soft and less lighter colors greys or whites.

How 'bout turquoise - that's what I would paint my room (other then green - but most ppl don't like green all that much) or you could mix - a really neat idea would be to paint it completly turquoise and then splatter green (or any other compatible color) all over it.

I suggest light grey if you want something peaceful and calm, and if you want something wild and vibrant.. I'd go for a kind of blueish color.. but don't get something that'll blind you. That's just ugly.

Chartreuse, it is beautiful, but not overly girly. You are getting older, and it will make you room look mature and you will be able to grow into it.
