I have a laptop computer that will be turned on 24/7 on the roof of my building (I won't go into the why). Anyone know the best approach to shield this laptop from the elements? (ie, rain and heat). I live in los Angeles so it doesn't rain that much, although I'm concerned the summer heat might cook the laptop.

Any ideas? I'm thinking about putting it in a cooler of some sort, but I'm not sure if there's enough ventilation. I'm also concerned about rain.

I am getting a total electric heat pump installed and the contractor is say it will take a 90-100 amp breaker and that I have to upgrade my meter base to 200amps. Based on the electrician 15kw would be divided by 240volts to give you 62.5amps. who is wright.?

what is your favourite (favorite U.S.) part of it...

if you have any, go out pick a flower, bring it back in, put it in a small amount of water... and display on your window sill!

please tell me what flower you brought in?

Maybe I can just paint over it using a Vinyl Paint spray, such as you would use to repaint a car's dashboard (it's much the same, like a leather texture). The concern is that the paint would peel or bubble, being under (hot) water. Someone out there must've done this before. Rejuvenating this thing would be great. Thanks, Mike.

I'm making a concrete sidewalk. The rebar that is being laid down before the concrete is poured is rusted. Is this a problem?

A few weeks ago, we heard something scuttling in our apartment. Now, whatever it was is definitely DEAD and it absolutely stinks. But we can't find it..it must be a rat or a mouse. How can we go about finding it so we can get rid of it?
If we must call a pest control company to find it, how much money does that usually run?

Thanks for your help.
