Were remodeling a bathroom and looking for the simplest way to get it off.

The house is 90 years old so it has plaster and lattice walls. There is no dry wall.

try heat gun and scraper the heat should soften it up if not you may want to redrywall be sure to use the green stuff in a bathroom

You're probably going to destroy the wall no matter what you do. you
might just want to laminate over whats there or strip down to the studs and resheetrock,use cement boards around tub.

There is no easy way . I would scrape it off with a putty knife and then repair drywall surface with spackle, and sand till smooth prime and paint.

little bit of heat make it release. dry a hair dryer if you dont have a heat gun
