It's a huge descision, but we feel it's the right one. Just wondering if anyone has been through it and how painful and long the recovery period is, as I have a 7mth old and a 2 year old to care for.
Does it effect you hormonally? My desire to have more children is still quite strong although I have no intentions of doing so...spoken to GP and just waiting for a referal.

When I go for Physicals (I go to a pediatrician), i'm thirteen. But my doctor always seems so rushed, dont get me wrong she is a very good doctor, but how can it be less rushed. Or is it just me? I always want to talk more and ask some questions but I'm always to nervous to bring up things. What can or should I do? Serious answers.

i don't have insurance but i want to go to planned parent hood for a pap test etc etc.

How much will it cost? (roughly) I'd like to know ahead of time so I know that I'll have the money.

I suppose the first answer will be no, but I'm still worried...

I've only recently turned 16 and I've had 'regular' periods until now (they weren't at the exact same times but they were less than a week). My period came as normal, and then it seemed to go away for a day but then it came back for another week, and another week after that. I'm still bleeding heavily.

On top of this, I'm anemic with sickle cell trait.

Seeing a doctor isn't really an option for me, but should I be worried anyway, or just keep waiting?

My fiance's grandmother had a hernia, and had surgery to repair it. The mesh stuff they repaired it with isnt holding and they are not going to do anything else to fix it. What does this mean, im not familiar with anything about a hernia. She is very old and im just wondering if she will be ok or is this something that could cause her to die??

Tommorrow I have a doctor appointment because I've been feeling off lately. I'm almost 17 and since my last check up I've began having sex. I know she's gonna ask if I'm sexually active so what happens when I tell her that I am?

Will she do any tests, ask any questions? Is it even worth it to tell her?

I can't do anything right. And if I do everything perfect, she looks for something in any direction to jump on my case about. I mean really jumping on my case.

I have been on oral birth control before and the patch before, always in junction with condoms,Im looking to go back to the pill, but have a question.Im curious what my chances REALLY are of gettting pregenet when on the pill, and taken properly, but not using condoms...At this time we(my fiance and I) are not nessaceraly wanting a baby right now,but if pregnancy did occur it would be fine.
My fiance and I use condoms, the pull out method and the rythem method in junction with each other.I have only had one pregenecy "scare" if you can call it that, and later found out my late period was from recent stress. What do you think of taking the pill and not useing condoms.

I just recently got the IUD put in and in 3 months gained 20 lbs. I was thinking of tubal ligation, but not sure of side effects from that. I am 35 and married with 3 children we are done having children , and I am so done messing with my body and hormones. I cannot handle this weight gain so I was wondering if anyone has had success losing weight after going off birth contral and or side effects from a tubal ligation.

Does anyone know what percentage chance of failure this has if the second dose had been vomited out? Basically, only half of the dose made it thorough. If fertilization happened before I took the pill and it still attaches, will this cause any birth defects or deformations to the baby?

The bottle says if you have Thyroid problems to contact your doctor, I did and my doctor said not to take it, why not? It is after all just a natural supplement.

My last menstration was just before christmas, but at that time I was approching not having my period for 2 months. But like I said I got my period so I didn't worry. Now its happening again we are in the middle of febuary and still nothing. I am a virgin so there is no chance of pregnancy and I am also not on birth control. To make things worse I have no health insurance and the college that I go to dose not have a student clinc. How worried should I be?
