Women's Health - February 2007

I was recently admitted into the Oupatient ER at a hospital for some pain I was having. I wasn't sure if it was serious or not since It was not the same pain that I have with my recurring ovarian cysts. I know absolutely nothing about appendicitis or anything and the pain was on my right side (where my appendix is), so it scared me. My insurance recently changed and since I had not found a doctor yet, so i had to go to the nearest hospital. After dicussing what the pain could possibly be, the docotr decided it was just another ruptured cyst and not appendicitis, and they only told me I would be receiving a "routine pelvic exam" . When I got the statement, there were numerous charges over $1,000 for tests they performed that they did not tell me they were going to do!! What can I do to contest these outrageous charges?!?!? Please help!

I am 23 years old, and NOT sexually active and never been on birth control pills. i got my period on 10/19, 11/20, 1/4, 2/6. skipped month of dec b/c i was under a lot of stress.My period is supposed to end tomorrow or day after but from the start and even now, the blood is rusty colored... y? This has never happened to me before. The blood is always reddish, never this brownish/rust color. Also, there is still discharge and it doesn't look like its going to stop tomorrow? im scared. what is this?

I'm an Asian and I'm already 19 and by breasts is small. I wonder if swimming helps to enlarge my rib cage because I underbust is 27 inch and that preetty small. Even my boobs are flat like a surfboard. I need help.

Currently, I'm wearing a bra size 70A and my breasts doesn't fill the cup. I'm worried. I'm hoping that my breast to grow. Surgery is my last resort.

My hip is pretty big too. It's around 30 inch I need to make it proportioned with my top. So can anyone give me some tips?

I really need to look good to restore myself esteem.

The main reason I am anxious about going to the gynecologist is the fact that it has been about 4 yrs (I'm 24) since my last visit and I have had 2 more partners since then who had been with other women before me.

Also, about a year ago I noticed some small skin colored bumps down there that did not hurt AT ALL and never turned red or blistered. I did some research online and I came up with HPV (genital warts). Since then, all of the bumps have disappeared.

I am getting married to the greatest guy this coming summer and I want us to be healthy going into our marriage. I know there are a million reasons why I should be running to the gyn. first thing tomorrow, but I am SO nervous about finding out that I have an STD or even worse... cancer. I know I probably don't, but I guess what I need is some encouragement. I don't need anyone to put me down for not going already. I KNOW it's time... I just need other people who know how I feel to give me some encouragement.

Lately I've noticed a burning in my vagina/near it I guess whenever I masturbate (has happened twice). The burning sticks around for a while I dunno what's up. I don't think my discharge is funny looking or whatever. I don't have sex though two weeks ago my boyfriend fingered me. But we've done that before and nothing like this has happened.

Okay uhm..I'm 17 yrs. old and when I was about to take a shower 2hrs. ago I saw this real white like it wasn't so liquidi but not at all creamy, well it was all around the inside of my vagina I've never gotten this and I'm a little scared. Ok here's the deal... What do you do if you are not sextualy active but your period is irregular! i have had my period for three years but it is still not regular.
