You think yours isn't normal? I skip every other month, and I have no way of predicting when it's coming. When it does come, it lasts from anywhere between 3 days and 9 days.
Periods are not always normal, and they differ from person to person. Taking birth control can help regulate it, I've heard. And if you're worried, then visit your doctor.

Totally normal. Sexually active or not, the birth control pill would solve all your problems. Your periods would be like clockwork, to the exact day, and would never last longer than a week tops, and it usually more like 4-6 days. They will keep you very regular, no more missed periods, less embarrassing accidents, and, best of all, if you know you'll be having your period during a special time or event, you can continue taking the pill during the week you'd normally skip, and your period will not come at all, until you stop taking them (3 weeks on 1 week off is how you take the pill)for that one week, which is totally handy.

I have had some of the most extreeme periods- 2 days to two weeks/ skip 3 months/ have a period 2 weeks later/ etc. My advice to you is ask your doctor to check your hormones- progesterone, testosterone and estrogen etc. I had to get blood tests done and It showed that my estrogen was dominant- and it took a toll on my body. I was also under alot of stress- which throws your body out of wach. Your doctor may perscribe to you natural progesterone from a compounding pharmacy if you are having other side effects- like very heavy or extreemly light periods, horrible cramps, hard or painful bowel movements, mood swings, bloating etc then thats when you most likely would be perscribed progesterone.. On the other hand- it could be an imbalance of a combo of your hormones- and she may just put you on birth control to be regulated.. or there might be a variety of other reasons.... Ask your doctor though- and make sure it is a doctor who cares about your health- I had to go to 4 doctors before I found the right one who gave me the natural progestone- all the others just gave me pills and pushed me out hte door which acutally threw my hormones more out of wack and made things MUCH worse- so be sure to ask many questions and make sure you get good and thorough treatment- I reccomend a natureopath. M.D. they are more educated about safer methods and not ones in which pharmicudical companies will sponser them etc... Good Luck!

if the dishcharge is white you could have a yeast infection. go to your dr. abnormal periods (start dates etc) are common and usually no need for concern...going on the pill can regulate your period. i've had rust colored blood when i have started my period later than i was supposed to. if you are concerned see a dr.

I'm sorry; I don't have any ideas. You might want to make an appointment with a doctor. If you feel that it's an emergency, by all means go to urgent care or an emergency room. I'm sorry you're worried, and I hope you figure it out soon.

Yellow in your knickers is subjective. If it's brownish yellow then yes but yellow discharge sounds infectious. When you period is over make sure you dont see this nastiness in your drawers.
