You need to get these checked ASAP. Sounds like you are referring to your axilla lymph nodes. If tender, they could signify and infection or they could be benign cysts. If they are hard and rubbery, they could be cancerous. This is not something to ignore.

You need to schedule an appointment with your doctor immediately. Not to freak you out, but you can get breast cancer in your armpit, that's why when you do your self check you check in that area. I recently went to the doctor with a breast lump and it was fine. I've done some reading that suggests roughly 80% of lumps found aren't cancerous at all. Nevertheless, finding a lump is very serious and should be taken that way. Don't stress yourself out, but do take it seriously and get it checked by the proper professionals. Good luck to you and God bless.

Could be a cyst or tumor, my gyno always checks there when she does my breast exam. There are also some sort of glands there that could be swollen. Give it a week or two, if the lumps are still there and sore have it checked by a doctor to be safe.

It is probaby an infected sweat or sebacious gland (an infection in short). Go to the doc to rule it out. They might lance it (pop it like a pimple). It won't hurt much at all, especially in comparison to putting up with it so long.

I had something like that. I went to the doctor and they told me to go and get an ultrasound on them. They did not find anything. They said that it was glands like in your neck. Go to your doctor and check though. -Rayna
