I have an important weekend coming up on Friday, but just started my period. Pills are NOT an option. I heard OJ works... but wasn't sure. Is there even a possible answer?

Geez I wish there was something to stop it! That's why I like birth control pills. You can either skip the whole week during an important event. Or sometimes while I'm on my period I take a couple bc pills to shorten it. But that kinda messes up your pill schedule. So you should think about gettin on bc pills so this doesn't happen next time

Sorry. Menstruation is a natural and normal function and only pregnancy and reproductive disorders will prevent it. I suppose you could have a D&C but you'd have a hard time justifying the request and no doctor would perform it for the reason you've given. I wouldn't recommend hormones, this could have bad repercussions. You may have to postpone your weekend. Orange juice and milk???!!! Ha, ha, ha, ha!!!

Sometimes to stop my period I take a birthcontrol pill ( i dont take them everyday), but i take about 2 pills the day before. and it usualy will make me quit bleeding for bout 2 days but you said pills arent an option...

Nope you have to deal with it. I'd sugggest simply taking baths or showers before you go out on your venture. For some reason it stays up for a while directly after bathing!

Nothing short of synthetic hormone will help you now.
One aspirin might increase flow a little.
If it's a (sex) thing, look into those Beyond menstrual cups. available at drug store.
